Synopsis

August 2011. Our home on a remote hillside, Italy.

It is the hottest summer I have known. The land is dry, the trees and creatures are thirsty. In the heat my husband, artist Sam Orlando Miller, is at work. As a pair of Untitled Mirrors emerge they reflect the story of our summer.

The film takes its title from Hiro, one of two little horses who came to stay, whose coat changes colour as the sun travels across a cloudless sky.

Filmed entirely on an iPhone4, the discreetness of which made the film possible.
