The forest is waking up after a long, hard winter. As the trees unfold their leaves artist Sam Orlando Miller begins a new work. He has many greens to organise. He works by hand and eye; ordering, cutting, numbering what goes where.
Untitled Mirror 5 emerges with a patina of counting, slight shifts of shade and uncertain reflections. Gazing into its emerald depths the world appears transformed.
